Summer 2009 Lake Como Ferry Timetables for Visitors
These Lake Como ferry timetables are valid until 4 October 2009. They are a reworking of the official timetables, to make the information in them easier for visitors to follow:
- Lake Como ferry service Monday to Saturday (Standard service between Como and Colico and reverse, Vehicle and passenger services between Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna and Cadenabbia, Fast service between Como and Colico)
- Lake Como ferry services Sundays and Holidays (Standard service between Como and Colico and reverse, Vehicle and passenger services between Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna and Cadenabbia., Fast service between Como and Colico)
- Commuter Service between Como and Nesso
- Lecco to Bellagio and back

We are travelling to Europe this week and have a train trip arranged to arrive at Lake Como from Milan Train no 18 arriving 13.37 Sunday 13th June 2010. We have a booking at Cadinabbia Di Griante Hotel and want to catch the ferry from Lake Como also to return from the hotel to Lake Como to catch Train no Ec13 departing 10.16 on Tuesday 15th June 2010. Is this possible and is the ferry far from the train station?
With luggage there is 15 – 20 min walk from Como S. Giovanni train to ferry point in Como. There is 14:30 and 15:30 ferry from Como to Cadenabbia. Here is a timetable for this part of your journey. I am sorry but on the way back you will not be able to catch a ferry.

We will be taking the trin from Milan. Or final destination will be Tremezzo. It looks as if we should take the train to Varenna, but what is the best way to get to Tremezzo from the Varenna train station?
Has the timetable changed for 2010. I really like the modified layout but don’t want to use something that is out of date. We will be there in September.
