Winter 2008 Lake Como Ferry Timetables for Visitors
These timetables are valid until 4 April 2009. They are a reworking of the official timetables, to make the information in them more relevant for visitors and easier to follow:
- Fast service to destinations between Como and Colico.
- Vehicle and passenger service between Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna and Cadenabbia.
Winter 2008 motorship timetable contains only local commuter services between Como town and a handful of villages close to the foot of the western branch therefore has been omitted.

Any chance you will produce an ‘idiots guide’ for 2009?
We are arriving at bergamo airport on in the late afternoon of 15th September return flight is afternoon of 22nd.
We actually want to get to Bellagio and are thinking of taking the via Como route as there seems less chance of ‘connection’ problems.
Any sensible suggestions for to non Italian speaking OAP’s?

We want to know if there is a hop-on-hop-off ferry to the
different lakes we are travelling by car if it is possible.
If not could you suggest something else we4 could do?

There is no hop-oh-hop-off ferry to different lakes as lakes are not interconnected. If you are travelling by car you can drive between the lakes.
Can anyone help me, I find trying to understand the timetable on Lake Come. I wish to know if I stayed at Cadenabbia is it
possible to visit most other resorts on the lake.
Also is there a good bus timetable to use around the lake also, and is it possible to get a local bus to Lake lugano.
Is there a tourist information office in Cadenabbia.

You will have no problems with accessing other places around Lake Como from Cadenabbia. You will be able to use passenger and car ferries for Menaggio, Bellagio or Varenna.
To get to Lugano from Cadenabbia you will first need to get to Menaggio (C10 bus) and then take C12 to Lugano
There is a tourist information office in Cadenabbia but not open all year round.
